We've all heard about the dangers of texting while driving. Yet a whopping —many of whom are teens.
In an effort to battle this dangerous behavior, the Wireless Foundation has launched its annual video contest, called Drive Smart: No Distractions, No Excuses. The contest asks for teens ages 13 to 18 to create a short video educating their peers on the dangers of texting while driving. The grand prize winner will get $5,000, with smaller prizes for runners-up and semi-finalists. That's not money to sneeze at! For more information on the contest, visit .
The contest is open now through December 15, 2015. To get inspired, check out the video from last year's winner .
